On 16-22 September 2023, the XXVI Wrocław edition of the Lower Silesian Science Festival took place. The first demonstrations in our Department took place on 18 September 2023. Dr Daniel Dusza together with Zdzisław Bażant, led primary school pupils through the world of electrical metrology in the Electrical Metrology Laboratory.

On 19. September 2023, we were visited by kindergarten and three primary school classes from Wrocław schools. The staff of our Department were involved in organising the demonstrations and lectures. Prof. Piotr Serkies and Prof. Grzegorz Tarchała presented lectures on robotics, electrostatics and thermal imaging, while Prof. Marcin Wolkiewicz, Dr Paweł Ewert, Dr Maciej Skowron, Dr Karol Wróbel, Przemysław Pietrzak, MSc and Jarosław Mulawka, MSc conducted a series of demonstrations entitled „The era of robots has arrived - the robots of the future” in the Industrial Automation Laboratory.

Students took on the role of students, listened to mini-lectures and were tasked with performing specific tasks in both metrology and robot control. We hope that they will join the ranks of the students of our Faculty of Electrical Engineering in the near future.
