On 15 April, a group of employees from the K37 Department visited the Semep electrical motor factory in Wrocław, at 21 Zakrzowska Street, where low-power motors are produced in the number of tens of thousands per year. The meeting was aimed at learning about the company's production methods for electric motors and initiating potential cooperation between the two institutions. Since the company is Italian, the meeting also included pizza.
Semep is part of the large Simel group founded in Italy in 1966, specialising in the production of all kinds of low-power electric motors used in fan drives, heating, water treatment, automation and much more.
Courtesy of Semep, our Department staff also had the opportunity to assemble the individual components of a single-phase induction motor themselves, as can be seen in the photos below. Fortunately, the assembled motors passed all tests and will go to the end customers.
We look forward to a revisit to our Department and further cooperation.
