On June 5-6, Prof. Teresa Orlowska-Kowalska, D.Sc., Prof. Krzysztof Szabat, D.Sc. and Grzegorz Tarchala, D.Sc. from our Department took part in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Department of Power Electronics, Electric Drive and Robotics (KENER) at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. The Jubilee Seminar was divided into two days. During the first day, there were a number of interesting lectures on such topics as the history of the Department of Electrical Engineering and KENER, as well as an anniversary session in which invited guests from 8 Polish technical universities spoke. On the second day, members of the Department presented their scientific (HEETII) and teaching (RELABEMA) projects. It was also possible to visit selected teaching and research laboratories.
