Date: 30.10.2024

We invite you to vote in the Pro Juvenes award for student initiatives from our Department!

– “Autonomous Drink Dispenser” in the Student Science Project category - The Autonomous Drink Dispenser is a robot that automatically detects glasses and accurately distribiutes drinks into them, using a vision system from Raspberry Pi and a TensorFlow Lite model. The device is controlled using Arduino and stepper motors, ensuring efficient and precise operation. The project was carried out by students from the SNS Automation science club.

– “Peer Tutoring” in the Helping Hand category - The Peer Tutoring project provides first-year students with personalized support offered by more experienced colleagues. The program supports the development of academic and soft skills, while fostering relationship building and the exchange of experiences between students from different departments. Many students of our Faculty are involved in the project, and its leader is our PhD student Oliwia Frankiewicz.
