Power Electronics and Drives (PEAD), run by the Department of Electrical Machines, Drives and Measurements, has received its first Impact Factor (IF), calculated annually by Clarivate. The PEAD coefficient for the previous year is 0.7.

The inaugural IF factor is very high, one of the highest among Polish journals of similar subject matter. This result is due to the hard work of the editorial team, editors and reviewers. From the very beginning, the journal has been led by Prof. Teresa Orłowska-Kowalska, D.Sc., and her deputy is Prof. Mateusz Dybkowski.
