By decision of the General Board of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP), Dr Maciej Gwoździewicz was awarded the Michał Doliwo-Dobrowolski Medal. This medal is awarded primarily for youth activities. Dr Maciej Gwoździewicz is the initiator and secretary of the Scientific Conference Generacja-Przesył-Wykorzystanie (Generation-Transmission-Use), whose speakers are mainly M.Sc. and Ph.D. students. In addition, he actively promotes electrotechnical knowledge in secondary schools.
