On the 16th of June 2023, at 11:15 am, our Department hosted a lecture entitled "Where theory meets practice? Introduction to the design of power electronic converter systems in medium-voltage systems". Our colleague (a Ph.D. graduate of our Departament) Dr. Piotr Sobański, currently a researcher at ABB, gave a very informative lecture on many issues related to power electronics in the broadest sense, but also in project management. The seminar attracted many listeners, especially students, who heard that practically all issues covered in the courses taught by the Electrical Engineering Department are useful in further industrial work.
