As part of the subject "Robot drives and machine tools", an open lecture was held by representatives of Mitsubishi entitled "Robots in the ecosystem of industrial automation solutions". Ms. Dominika Humeniuk and Mr. Remigiusz Holisz (a graduate of our Faculty) presented issues related to the construction of robots, discussed drive technology, control and robot peripherals. The process of PLC configuration involving the creation of a multiprocessor system was also presented, and the advantages of such a solution were discussed. The issue of predictive maintenance that allows predicting wear and tear and affects service intervals was also presented. A software solution called Me2Robot allowing simultaneous monitoring of all robots in a machine park was also presented. The Asissta robot was also presented, allowing, among other things for programming in Direct Teaching mode.
